I never really understand the philosophy under an art. Eventhough, sometimes I just can sense the artistry inside it. But as a layman, with my senses, I see, hear, taste, smell, feel, some of live sensation and help me appreciate some of the beauty of the world, created by the Master's hands.
Given a chance this noon, when incidentally I met a friend, a detailer from Kalbe Farma, who gave me a 2005 almanac, and inside I saw some beautiful pictures of canvas paintings that describes some of Indonesian's beauty in the eyes of the artist.
The beauty start with a poem by Ramadhan K.H. especially for Kalbe Farma:
Kesehatan, bobot utama dalam kehidupan,
Kesejahteraan, tujuan yang jadi pegangan,
Untuknya ilmu ditimba dan disebarkan,
Untuknya sikap hidup dipaku ditegakkan.
